Paul declared to the Corinthians that he did not come to the church with excellency of speech, nor with the philosophies of the world, but with fear and trembling.

Dr. Basden makes it standard protocol to seek an anointed Word, a Rhema Word from the Lord so that it would minister grace unto the hearers. He sincerely believes that "unto him grace was given to preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable richness of Christ" (Eph. 2:8).

When the Zerubbabels of the world ask "Is there a Word from the Lord?" There will be a resounding "YES ! There is a Word from the Lord!".

TEACHING

Jesus was a Master Teacher. He TAUGHT primarily about the kingdom of God. The gift and administration of teaching is essential in the kingdom of God. The Old Covenant priests had two major functions: Educational and Sacrificial. We normally reflect on their sacrificial work; not enough on the educational. "For the lips of the priest should keep knowledge . . . for he is the oracle of God" (Mal. 2:7).

Teaching is Rev. Basden's first love. With it he brings an anointed passion and special, practical insights.

TRAINING

Is it not amazing that we live in a world where the average Christian still does not appreciate the need for ministry training? It is amazing that some still see training as not depending on the Holy Spirit. We live in a world where training is needed just to collect trash, yet when it comes to the most precious commodity on earth- the salvation and maturity of the human spirit- there are still some antiquated Believers out there who yet argue against training.

But let it not so be named among you. Kairos is all about loving the Lord with our minds- hence our motivation to engage in ministerial training and development.
